Maintenance Mechanic
Job DescriptionOur client, a leading meat company, is currently seeking an accomplished Maintenance Mechanic to join the team.
Here is an overview of the role:
1) Perform troubleshooting and programming on PLCs used on plant equipment2) Calibrate various instruments, such as thermocouples and load cells3) Troubleshoot power distribution systems4) Operate safely shop equipment, such as grinders, cut-off saws, power tools and ladders5) Rebuild gearboxes, power drives, centrifugal pumps and replace mechanical shaft seals6) Troubleshoot and program complex automated equipment7) Perform complex building mechanical repairs8) Comply with the company's policies and procedures9) Perform other duties as assignedCritical Requirements1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)2) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenanceThis role is a great opportunity for the right person looking to advance their career with a wonderful company.
