Provides a variety of Human Resources functions, mainly in support of the retail banking division.
Responsibilities include talent acquisition and management, employee relations, employee on-boarding and wellness program planning and coordination.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers:
Manage and direct the acquisition of talent for the retail banking operation including sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates, background checking and offer.
Work closely with branch management and retail banking administration to successfully meet staffing needs.
With support from the VP of Human Resources, manage employee relations for the branch network as the main HR contact for retail banking operations.
Manage performance, ensure consistent application of policies, and manage risk arising out of employment actions.
Collaborate with branch management staff to manage the performance review delivery process within the retail division.
Work with branch administration staff to identify high performing retail banking talent and ensure that high performing talent is engaged in meaningful career development.
Manage day to day administration of the bank's Affirmative Action Plan including outreach to diversity organizations, applicant tracking and reporting.
Coordinate and keep updated on required government reporting, i.

Serve as the bank's wellness coordinator and champion.
In coordination with HR staff and senior management, develop successful wellness strategies and increase engagement in wellness activities and programs.
In conjunction with other bank staff coordinate and plan special events including employee meetings, holiday parties, etc.
Serve as general HR back-up for functions including payroll and benefit administration as needed.

Responsibilities:
Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.
Bachelor's degree combined with two to five years of Generalist/HR Assistant experience in Human Resources.
Experience must include full cycle recruiting, performance management and employee relations.
Experience with payroll and benefits administration is preferred.
Strong knowledge of key HR regulations including Civil Rights Acts, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and FLSA.
Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity), MS Office, and other database applications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to build collaborative working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost of discretion.
Knowledge of the banking industry, corporate structure, and governance preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
